Graduated from Campbell University in May, 1980 with BS degree in Home Economics, concentration in Interior Design. Married Hal in June 1980, after he waited on me 5 years. Worked at Clippard's Furniture until December 1982, when our first child Brandon was born and I became a full-time mom, with some part time adventures such as catering. Kristen came along in 1987. A few years later, I started working in the schools as a volunteer and eventually started substituting. I was asked to start teaching which meant going back to school for my teaching credentials. I have worked full time for 22 years at Kiser Elementary, East Gaston, South Point, Mt Holly Middle, and currently at Forestview High
